iwpage recensere

I don't understand your edit summary. I agree there are problems and I'm starting to wonder whether {{iwpage}} is even a good idea; but I don't understand what you mean by "until iwpage template works correctly in transclusion". Can you explain?--Doug.(Disputatio Conlationes) 08:28, 23 Augusti 2011 (UTC)Reply

So: If you display a page with iwpage in it, such as fr:Page:Barzaz Breiz, huitième édition.djvu/148, text from br domain is displayed. See br:Page:Barzaz Breiz, huitième édition.djvu/148. If you display in the fr domain a document with the same page transcluded in it, such as fr:La Peste d’Elliant (54th page), text from br domain is not displayed. Iwpage does not work properly in transclusion. --Wuyouyuan 00:37, 25 Augusti 2011 (UTC)Reply
OK, I see the problem (the result, not the cause). I recently saw an editor doing this to many, many pages here on la.ws; personally, I do not transcribe part of a page in one language and part in another but I can see it would be a problem even for a whole page - just not so common. The other problem is that you cannot control the other text easily. If I transcribe the latin here and you use it on fr with {{iwpage}}, then I change the formatting here to fit a work on this project; you must come here and discuss and we may not agree. In the end, the community on each project will support the local use over the interwiki use. I think we must import the whole work to each project (or eliminate the subdomains).--Doug.(Disputatio Conlationes) 08:11, 25 Augusti 2011 (UTC)Reply
I did not know these templates. I will some day try it on br and fr domain with texts from F.M. Luzel Gwerziou. The Interwiki problem is a thorny one. Small languages as Breton have a large part of bilingual books, and if Breton language is allowed in French domain, Breton domain will have a difficult existence. I think F. M. Luzel is a success due to close collaboration between french and breton contributors. See fr:Chansons populaires de la Basse-Bretagne/Bilingue --Wuyouyuan 03:04, 26 Augusti 2011 (UTC)Reply
