Sulpicia. Quando, Iulia cārissima, Bāias profectūra es?

Iulia. Crās māne, mea lūx. Hīc, ut vides, ‘omnia fervere lāte,’ ut cecinit Maro noster.

S. Fīliolamne tuam Phrynēn tecum ferre paras?

I. [Se flābello ventilat.] Paro, sed minime illā, crēdo, ūsūra. Castella scīlicet ex harēna cum serva Sabīna in lītore faciet.

S. Me miseram! mihi septem dies manendum est.[1]

I. Septem dies! te infēlicem!

S. Velim tamen mihi ostendas aliquid vestīmentorum quae tecum portanda curas.

I. Ostendam, quam libenter. [Surgit.] In cubiculum, sōdēs, venias, quā servae vāsa mea, ut aiunt
