1(cv.) Similis est natura naphthæ : ita appellatur circa Babylonem, et in Astacenis Parthiæ, profluens, bituminis liquidi modo. Huic magna cognatio ignium, transiliuntque protinus in eam undecumque visam. Ita ferunt a Medea pellicem crematam, postquam sacrificatura ad aras accesserat, corona igne rapta.
