I have italicized according to Fowler's second edition (Oxford, 1889), guessing that that was the source for this text. But now, because of small discrepancies in punctuation, I don't think that was the source. The source may have been Spedding (London), but there are small discrepancies there too. Maybe it was Spedding (Boston) or maybe Fowler or Spedding (London) with small changes made by whomever digitized it. --Mccaskey 18:04, 20 Aprilis 2008 (UTC)
