PREFACE
THE favour which my Easy Latin Stories have met with has induced me to publish another easy Reader.
Some passages from classical writers appear in Part II. Part III is an adaptation from Quintus Curtius. The Notes will enable young boys to dispense with the use of a Classical Dictionary, and I hope the book may also be useful in giving a slight sketch of the leading events of Roman and Grecian History.
